Cats are complicated creatures and sometimes their behavior is not perfect. Behavior issues in cats – from aggression to eliminating outside the litter box – can make cohabitation a challenge. But there IS help. Did you know that there is a FREE cat behavior hotline hosted by volunteer cat experts. They can give you concrete, evidence-based advice on how to work with your problem child so everyone can live a happy, healthy life together.

Contact the National Cat Behavior Helpline by emailing felinehelpline@gmail.com and provide your name, contact information, and a description of the behavior issue. They will respond within 48 hours.

This is such a valuable resource and it helps keep feline and human family members together.

New Successes in 2026

Our dental grant wrapped up with these furry friends who received care from Hurley’s Haven as well as our friend Tigger who received care from Britt Road Animal Hospital for full-mouth extractions.  We wish all of these pets and their families well as they travel through life with happier mouths!

November Successes

We are celebrating our grant from Sanford’s Pints ‘N Paws – in support of pet dental
care in Central Florida. Our first five patients received dental care this month. Congrats to Baxter, Bob, Marbles, Nino, and Piggy!
