Resources That Help Keep Families Together

Resources for Lost or Stray Animals

If you find a stray animal that appears to be someone’s pet (not a community/feral cat):

1) Scan for a microchip – any vet practice will help you with this free of charge
2) If you can foster or can find someone else to foster, contact local animal services to report the animal found. If you cannot, contact animal services to arrange surrender of the animal
3)Post on social media and post signs to see if the owner can be found

Note: if you find baby kittens, please leave them alone and watch for mom: https://www.alleycat.org/community-cat-care/finding-kittens-outdoors/
